This hands-on camp is designed for curious minds ready to dive into the exciting world of photography. Participants will make their own ID badge, learn cool techniques, take part in fun photo challenges and capture moments that tell their story. Students will have the ability to use a macro lens to see the tiny details on common objects. The final day concludes with a portfolio viewing for family & friends. This will be held inside and outside the school. Ages: Students entering 4-8th grade. A DSLR Camera or Cell Phone Camera are required for this class. NOTE: Students using a cell phone for their camera will need to agree to have the phone on airplane mode during the class. Students should be prepared to go outside. Whether a newbie or you have some flying experience, the students will level up. Each session, students take on exciting drone challenges, such as obstacle courses, precision landings and team relay races. The final session wraps up with a friendly drone-flying competition and display to show new skills to the family. This is an indoor class. Supplies needed: safety goggles/glasses. A drone will be covered under the registration fee. No personal drones allowed. Ages: open to studente entering 4th-8th grade Class cost is $75, plus a fee of $45 for a beginner drone. NOTE: All drones are kept at the camp during the week and students keep the drone at the end of camp.
