Northern Outdoors Club
We are excited to once again partner with Cassie from Northern Outdoor Club to bring some fun youth enrichment activities.
Dog Sled 101
Learn all about the pack that it takes to pull a dog sled & then put your legs to the test to see if your crew can move via sled! Time trials will bring out some competitive fun for the day. We will also have some fun hands-on activities of what it takes to care for our pack!

Snowshoeing Adventures & Tracking
Be ready for an outside winter adventure- be prepared with dry Winter gear! *Snowshoes provided for the class time! We will have an absolute blast stumbling along the way all while learning how to walk again! After we remastered walking, try your luck at a snowshoe race and some fun games! We will also play a matching track game & then put our knowledge to the test- looking for real tracks in the school forest & if the weather is right, make a take-home print for each student!

Cooking with Dandelions
Dandelions are not just a weed! You can use dandelions to make jelly, muffins, cookies, lemonade and so much more! Have fun after school, making a recipe that includes dandelions in the ingredient list! Course will run by forming groups & actively going through the process of learning and making a snack!
